Cot\u00e9 Fran\u00e7ais, implantations dans des villages de l&rsquo;Alsace Bossue et autour de Strasbourg avec une concentration forte sur les villages autour de F\u00e9n\u00e9trange et un pic densitaire des Stroh sur Wolfskirchen. Ils \u00e9taient Protestants depuis peu.\u00a0 Leur fonction \u00e9tait de collecter l\u2019imp\u00f4t aupr\u00e8s des concitoyens essentiellement cultivateurs du village (dans leur cas <strong>Mittersheim<\/strong>) dans une p\u00e9riode pour le moins violente.<\/p>\n<p>Les Rhingraves introduisirent le luth\u00e9ranisme \u00e0 F\u00e9n\u00e9trange et Mittersheim avant 1565.\u00a0 il s\u2019en suivit une p\u00e9riode troubl\u00e9e, \u00e9maill\u00e9e de querelles entre co-Barons rest\u00e9s fid\u00e8les \u00e0 Rome et les partisans de la R\u00e9forme. Le XVII\u00e8me si\u00e8cle fut marqu\u00e9 par la terrible <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Guerre_de_Trente_Ans\">guerre de trente ans<\/a> (1618-1648) \u00e0 laquelle succ\u00e9da famine et peste. Diane de Dommartin et son \u00e9poux en secondes noces, Charles Philippe, duc de Croy-Arschot, co-barons sont rest\u00e9s catholiques. Fran\u00e7ois Stroh fut longtemps en relation avec la famille Bieber qui y habitait dans les ann\u00e9es 1990-2000. Ils eurent 6 enfants dont GEORGES. Plus anecdotique, notre cousin J.Hatt a d\u00e9m\u00eal\u00e9 les couloirs du temps pour \u00e9tablir que Brant, Charlemagne, Rollon le Viking, les ducs de Bretagne, les comtes de Toulouse, la Maison des Hasbourgs &#8230; etc, \u00e9taient de nos ascendants.<\/p>\n<p>4. Notre milieu social \u00e9tait un mixte de familles rurales et de notables. Le district de Sarre-Union est cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1790.<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9pisode h\u00e9ro\u00efque du pasteur <a href=\"http:\/\/shenandoahdavis.canalblog.com\/archives\/2020\/10\/27\/38612459.html\">Dannenberger<\/a> en 1815, racont\u00e9 dans les \u201cVeill\u00e9es alsaciennes\u201d d\u2019Erckmann-Chatrian. Pasteur de Vendenheim, Il sauva la vie de 18 otages catholiques d\u2019un village voisin.<\/li>\n<li>Chr\u00e9tien Ritzenthaler, mari de Mathilde Ortlieb, viticulteur \u00e0 Ribeauvill\u00e9, cr\u00e9e une entreprise de transports pour aller de la toute nouvelle gare ferroviaire situ\u00e9e \u00e0 4-5 Kms au centre ville.<\/li>\n<li>La pr\u00e9sence du r\u00e9publicain <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jean_Mac%C3%A9\">Jean Mac\u00e9<\/a> au \u00ab petit Ch\u00e2teau \u00bb de Beblenheim o\u00f9 il eut comme \u00e9l\u00e8ves Mathilde et \u00c9milie Ortlieb, et aussi la tante de Louis-Paul Horst, Marie P\u00e9tri, grande amie de Mathilde.<\/li>\n<li>Vers 1860 le jeune <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Charles_Wagner\">Charles Wagner<\/a> arrive \u00e0 Ottwiller avec sa famille. Les grands-m\u00e8res de Georges <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">IV<\/span> Stroh et de Charles Wagner \u00e9taient s\u0153urs. Il fondera en 1907 le Foyer de l\u2019Ame \u00e0 Paris, aujourd\u2019hui l\u2019une des deux paroisses protestantes \u00ab lib\u00e9rales \u00bb de Paris.<\/li>\n<li>En 1872 Georges Stroh III et sa femme, Louise Dannenberger optent pour la France pour que leur fils, n\u00e9 en 1853, ne fasse pas son service militaire allemand.<\/li>\n<li>En 1915, le pasteur Louis-Paul Horst, \u00e9poux de Madeleine Stroh depuis 1913, est emprisonn\u00e9 \u00e0 Colmar pour avoir refus\u00e9 de prier <span style=\"color: #003300;\">pour le <\/span>Kaiser et Madeleine est rel\u00e9gu\u00e9e \u00e0 Dresde.<\/li>\n<li>Jean-Louis Stroh passe 4 ans sur le front de la 1ere guerre mondiale : la Somme, le Chemin des Dames et jusqu&rsquo;au Piave en Italie, face aux Autrichiens, ou il fut bless\u00e9.<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><\/span><\/li>\n<li>En 1931, Louis-Paul Horst et Madeleine Stroh, prennent en charge la paroisse Saint-Nicolas, centre du protestantisme lib\u00e9ral \u00e0 Strasbourg.<\/li>\n<li>En 1939 des milliers de Strasbourgeois sont \u00e9vacu\u00e9s dans le Sud-Ouest: Jean-Louis Stroh et sa famille vont \u00e0 P\u00e9rigueux, Madeleine et Louis-Paul Horst (avec \u00c9milie Orlieb et Mathilde Ritzenthaler) pr\u00e8s de Bergerac, dans la maison familiale Gueylard de Lamouthe, rachet\u00e9e avant la guerre par Henri Stroh, mari de Marie-Anne Gueylard.<\/li>\n<li>Le 25 mars 1944 <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Henri_Charles_Stroh\">Henri Stroh<\/a> est arr\u00eat\u00e9 par la Gestapo dans son bureau au Creusot.
